[A FF lightweight sports car made by Mugen]
Honda Ballade Sports CR-X, a FF lightweight sports car announced in June 1983. The Mugen CR-X PRO. is a car fitted with parts made by "Mugen", which develops Honda racing cars and custom cars.
The front and rear air dam bumpers and blister fenders give the car a striking style, which was made by Mooncraft, a racing car designer led by Takuya Yura.
In addition, as Mugen is in charge of Honda's motorsports activities, in addition to the aero parts, there are also a wide range of reinforcement parts such as intake and exhaust systems, suspension, and roll cages.
Owners can customize it however they like. The CR-X PRO. was born by feeding back technology gained on the circuit, and it has attracted the attention of many car enthusiasts as one of the best tuning cars out there.
It has been used as a pace car on circuits such as Suzuka, and has contributed greatly to not only promoting the performance of the CR-X, but also to improving the sports image of Honda cars.
