In 1993, as many as seven GT-R machines participated in Japan Touringcar Championship (JTC) from Unisia JECS team (M. Hasemi/H. Fukuyama), Calsonic team (K. Hoshino/M. Kageyama) and other 5 teams.
Audience was fascinated with battles between GT-R machines. GT-R would win as a matter-of-course, but which GT-R? That was the hottest topic.
It was a revival of the age of Skyline 2000 GT-R that won 52 wins in 3 years from 1969.
This is the genuine machine STP Taisan GT-R that won the 2nd round in 1993 and finished second in the 4th round driven by K. Takahashi, one of the leaders of car races in Japan since 1960s, and K. Tsuchiya, “Drift King”, with popularity and ability.
