Hasegawa is a plastic model manufacturer founded in 1941.
So far, we have created everything from real vehicles such as airplanes, ships, and cars to fictional character models.
We have made plastic models of items from a wide range of genres.
Based on that know-how, we are still aiming to create even better products.
- How Hasegawa's plastic models are made -
[Interview/Research]
Gathering all kinds of information, not only the shape but also the detailed position of screws.
We strive to recreate images that are faithful to the real thing and its history.
[Design]
We accurately reproduce the shape based on actual interviews, drawings, documents, etc.
Rather than just reproducing it as is, we added deformations here and there.
I try to make sure that when you make it small, you can clearly feel the impression of the item.
[Mold processing]
I am particular about the expression of crisp and pleasant surfaces and lines.
Using our unique processing method, even the finest engravings are reproduced sharply.
Ease of assembly and the perfect fit of the parts are also important points.
