[18103] Cross Spear 01 by PDC Designworks (VZ Chassis)

[A unique body with a low center of gravity]

This is a plastic model assembly kit of a high-performance racer that uses a shaft drive four-wheel drive.

The Cross Spear 01 was designed by hyper designer Takayuki Yamazaki, who is well known for the ``DCR (Decross)'' series and ``Dual Ridge Jr.''

This machine, which inherits the name of the mini 4WD ``Ray Spear,'' has a unique shape in which the left and right side panels of the body are separated from the center and supported by a truss structure, and its sharp form like a spear is noteworthy.

The light gray body, which is reminiscent of a stealth fighter, is thoroughly committed to a light and low form, pursuing a stable running feeling unique to the low center of gravity. The removable canopy is prepared as a separate clear part.

The chassis uses the lightweight and compact VZ, with the main body coordinated in German gray and the A parts such as the rollers and gear cover in white.

The fluorescent green spiral wheels are equipped with black super hard small diameter low height tires.

The lightweight body suitable for practical use and the VZ chassis are a great match. This is a car that is sure to be a hit in races.

[VZ chassis with strength and expandability]

The VZ chassis is a refined version of the popular VS chassis, which is small, lightweight, and has a short wheelbase, and is also used in races.

While retaining the excellent features of the VS chassis, such as maneuverability and ease of maintenance, the strength of the bumper, rear stay base, propeller shaft bearing, etc. has been increased.

Another key point is the moderate "flexibility" that absorbs shocks.

In addition to the rear roller stays, the front bumper can also be separated.

The freedom of setting has also been greatly improved.

The shaft bearings use 620 plastic bearings made of POM resin, which has low friction resistance.

Both the chassis body and A parts such as the gear cover are made of ABS resin.

The gear ratio is set to 3.5:1.
